It’s easy to find your Huawei router IP address
We need to point out that Huawei is a huge manufacturer of networking equipment. We would be lying if we were to say we have covered all models in the above table. However, there is a bit of good news, it’s easy to find the Huawei router IP address, whatever the model you may have. There are basically two ways of doing so;
Check on the Router label
All Huawei routers come with a label. If you check on this label, you will find all the information that you need to log into your device. So, there was really no need for you to spend some time looking for the Huawei router web address on the internet. That information was already available on the router label.
If you look under the device, there will be the IP address, the default username and the router password printed on there. Sometimes, there will also be a default WiFi address. That’s all the information that you need to access the admin area of the device.
Find the IP address via Command Prompt
On Windows, it’s also possible to find the Huawei router default IP address using Command Prompt. Simply search for cmd on your PC and then type ipconfig into the Command Prompt window. You will find the Huawei router web address under Default Gateway.
Why look for this information?
We will close this article by looking at the motivation for you to look for the default IP address for your Huawei router. This is something that we have already mentioned at the top. It’s your intention to log into your router’s admin section.
That’s where it becomes possible to change a few things. You should know what you are doing however. Otherwise, you could end up breaking your internet.
We have another article in which we talk about the MTN APN settings for Huawei routers. To set that up, you need to log into your admin area.
You could also get in there to change your WiFi password, or to change your WiFi name. Many more changes are possible in there. And if you have messed things up, you can always reset your router.
