Do you wish to learn how to change the language on DSTV Now? Changing language is somethings that’s easy enough when watching DSTV through a decoder at home or elsewhere. All that you need to do is to press on the language button. You will then be presented with several language options. But is this feature available when streaming DSTV Now online?
How to change language on DSTV Now online
Unfortunately, it’s not currently possible to change the language when streaming DSTV Now on a laptop, phone or tablet. DSTV Now does not have the feature to change language online.
We have been to DSTV’s Twitter in search for answers and it appears that this is a feature that quite a number of people have been looking for. DSTV has been promising to look at bringing the feature since 2019.
Yet the feature is not yet available. So, you probably shouldn’t hold your breath. If you wish to change the language on the program that you are watching, it can only be done if you are doing so via the conventional decoder.
What is DSTV Now?
In this section, we are going to briefly explore DSTV Now. We have already partially given the answer to the question, “what is DSTV Now?” It’s an online DSTV streaming service allowing you to watch live television, access TV shows and movies, and much more.
The one great thing about DSTV Now is that it liberates you from the confines of your house. You can watch DSTV anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection. You can watch at work (good way to get fired), at the bus station, in a restaurant and all over the place.
DSTV Now is accessed via computers and mobile devices. You can watch it on a laptop, as an example. You can also watch it on your Smartphone. So, it’s complete freedom. Your DSTV Now account is linked to your DSTV subscription, so the shows to which you have access are those that you have paid for.
The one thing limiting you is access to cheap data. You cannot stream DSTV now all day in high definition unless you have a good data plan. There are many of these available in South Africa, so that shouldn’t be a problem for you.
That’s how to change the language on DSTV Now. It cannot be done. DSTV has been promising the feature for some time, and it’s not yet available. Perhaps the feature will become available in the future.
