What causes the Hexing prepaid meter not connecting issue?
So far in this article, we have looked at the solutions to the Hexing prepaid meter not connecting issue. But what causes this issue in the first place? Well, this is something to which we have already alluded.
The main culprit is the communication between the CIU and the meter. The CIU is the Customer Interface Unit. It’s the unit that you use to interact with the meter.
If there is no communication between the meter and the CIU, then you won’t be able to load in your tokens. It’s why it’s important to repair the connection. Sometimes, all that you need to do is to get connected from another socket.
That’s because communication between the meter and the CIU is sometimes through the wires in your home. On some models communication is wireless, so you may need to turn off WiFi and other devices that may interfere with the signal.
