What’s the IP Address on a Cell C Router?
The most common Cell C router default IP address is 192.168.1.1. That’s the IP for Huawei and other routers. The majority of CellC customers have routers from Huawei. However, the Huawei B315 and the Huawei B618 use 192.168.8.1 as their default IP address. If you have a ZTE router on Cell C, 192.168.1.1 will also be your default IP. The same applies for Technicolor routers.

What if I have another type of router?
That’s the Cell C router default IP address. But what if you have another type of router? Cell C is a big company. We have only covered mostly those routers that are provided by the company to it’s customers.
But a lot of people use their own routers on Cell C. It’s not uncommon for somebody to buy a Cell C SIM and to start using it in a router that had previously been used with a Vodacom SIM.
So, what do you do to find your CellC IP address?
You can use Command Prompt to find the Cell C router default IP Address
This is a very useful tip that’s applicable for any router. The Cell C router default IP can be found using Command Prompt on a Windows computer. But how do you do that? The following is how to do it;
- Connect your computer to the router’s internet.
- Open Command Prompt on Windows. You can do that by searching for cmd.
- Once you have opened Command Prompt, type in ipconfig and press enter.
- Next, scroll down to Default Gateway. That’s the default IP for your Cell C router.

Again, this applies for almost all routers that are out there. It’s possible to find the default IP address on the device label. If you check on your Cell C router, you will see a sticker on which is printed login information. That includes the login IP address for your Cell C router.
Why do you need the CellC router IP address?
So, why would you need the IP address to log into your Cell C router? The only reason why you could end up looking for this information could be if you wish to log into your router.
In order to do that, you need the default IP, along with the default username and password for you router.
With this information, it becomes possible to log into your router. There, you can make any number of changes, including to your WiFi name, your WiFi password, your router’s IP and much else.
