How to easily find the D Link router IP address

Your router’s IP can be found on a sticker under the device

That’s true for almost all routers. They all come with stickers on which is written information that’s needed for logging into the admin dashboards. Just check underneath your DLink router.

The label that’s on there will have the default IP or web address. There may also be other DLink router login details. That includes the default password and the default username.

In some instances, the router label will also have a default WiFi password. So, this information is there quite near you. It’s easy to find.

You can find the DLink Router IP address using Command Prompt

Windows comes with Command Prompt, a nifty tool that you can use to run various commands on your computer. You can use Command Prompt to discover what your DLink router’s default IP is.

To do that, your computer needs to be connected to your router’s internet. Once that is done, search for Command Prompt on Windows. In Command Prompt, type ipconfig and push on the enter button.

You can now scroll down to Default Gateway. That’s your D-Link router’s default IP.
